Sponsorship Policy

Autistic AF is an independent, creator-run project. From time to time we work with sponsors, partners, and affiliate programmes to help fund the videos, the community, and the work that goes into them. This page explains how we approach that — so viewers know what to expect, and prospective partners know how we operate.

Editorial independence comes first

Our videos, articles, and opinions are our own. A sponsorship never decides what we conclude, and we don't change our research, recommendations, or honest views to suit a partner. Educational content — especially anything about autism, health, or wellbeing — is kept clearly separate from, and is never dictated by, commercial relationships.

What we'll consider promoting

We only partner with products and services that are genuinely relevant and useful to autistic adults and our community — things we'd be comfortable recommending to a friend. Where we can, we try them ourselves first.

What we won't promote

Clear disclosure

When content is paid for or sponsored, we tell you. Paid partnerships are clearly labelled — for example with an on-screen and spoken disclosure in videos, and YouTube's “paid promotion” tag — in line with UK Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) and CMA guidance.

Affiliate links

Some links we share (such as the books on our bookclub page) are affiliate links. If you buy through them, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. We only ever use affiliate links for things we genuinely recommend.

Our right to decline

We keep full editorial control and may decline, pause, or end any partnership at any time — including if a partner's conduct or products no longer align with our values.
